"Your most profound and intimate experiences of worship will likely be in your darkest days — when your heart is broken, when you feel abandoned, when you’re out of options, when the pain is great — and you turn to God alone."

…at My word, would you bring your Isaac?

Seriously can’t begin to explain how much the Holy Spirit wanted me to hear this. Literally haven’t checked Tumblr in months, and here I am. #floored. #Jesus.

"One of the greatest threats to the message of the gospel is behavioral modification. Judas was living proof of a person who can say all the right things, do all the right things, and have everyone around him believe he’s righteous, when in fact his heart is far from God."

Dealing with the hatred inside (part 1)

I know people everywhere because of social media have a voice and we are a all philosophers, theologians and teachers. Needless to say I normally keep my mouth shut because there is enough noise out there already.
This time I have to speak up if not for me than for my son (and future children).
I have hated myself since I found Christ.

Thank you for speaking up. For real.

Friends, please take a second to pray for the people of Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in North Dakota, and the ministry of Destination Native Nation. Another kid felt hopeless enough to take their own life. That’s 5 in 4 months… The enemy does not win, and this is not the end.

Thanks, on behalf of everyone there. Fight for them in spirit. Strongholds will be wrecked. In Jesus’ name!

"As Christians, we’re the ones who *say we’re pilgrims in an imperfect, sinful world. Yet we’re the ones who want to go to church on Sunday as though our lives are and ourselves are unblemished and unaffected by the blight of sin."
